New week, new chapter

The Matrouz concert on Saturday night was a great success, with a standing ovation at the end. I was a silent observer at the recording session last Friday of the Tank Stream Quartet at the ABC and learned a lot hearing them in action in this setting. At this very moment my piano is being tuned and as soon as it is finished I will begin the string quartet commission for Tank Stream. I try and have a freshly-tuned piano as an added ingredient to open up inspiration at key junctures such as this.
